First Day of School - 3rd Grade
Today was the first day of third grade! I can't believe it. What's even harder for me to swallow is the fact that, when asked, Braiden said he DIDN'T want me to walk him to his class this morning. I did anyway, because I HAD to have my "first day of school picture with his teacher". He said it was embarrassing, but his teacher said that she had all of her pictures from each year in school, so I didn't feel so bad. I'm happy to see him becoming independent, but it'll always be hard for me to "let go".

Braiden looks so happy, Jodi! His smile is so, so sweet. Don't you wish they could stay this way? I now understand why you were teary when I saw you Monday morning. We are sending you hugs!
