Winter "Snow" Storm

We got our "big" winter blast last night...turned out to be more ice than snow. That didn't stop Braiden from getting up at 6:30 am. Thankfully, Brett made it home before it hit, and was thus already up when "jr" got up. I slept peacefully and blissfully until 8. I can't sleep when Brett's gone. I thought I'd gotten used to it, but this past week proved me wrong. I LOVE the weekends and the sleep. Being iced in together was nice. I did go out with Braiden and our neighbors. The kids had fun sledding in the back yard and I pulled them up and down the sidewalk. I guess that was the GOOD thing about it being ice, it was easier to pull the kids on the sled, especially now that they're all getting older. I got Braiden to try hot chocolate afterwards, but only because I have the "marshmallow lovers" one with all the mini marshmallows. Tomorrow morning will be our cinnamon rolls for breakfast that we were supposed to have today, but I think Brett isn't aware of Braiden and my "snow day tradition" because he had already gotten him breakfast by the time I got up, and it wasn't cinnamon rolls. Sunday school is cancelled for tomorrow...yay, coffee and cinnamon rolls! The only saving grace from this "storm" would be if we didn't have school on Monday ;-) Keep your fingers crossed.
