Facebook and Staph

I have a minor confession to make, I'm officially addicted to facebook! Damn it! To Carole and all the others who have continually bugged me to join, now I understand. Darnell, you now have to join the madness. You made me blog, now jump on our facebook bandwagon. Jackie? Do you agree? That's what I've been doing the past week, well that and dealing with my poor son and his Doctor's office contracted staph infection. Poor kid....gave blood for the first time to check allergies and the nurse had to stick him twice to find a vein, which is what apparently gave him the staph infection...lucky him. I guess the only "positive" is that we now know that he's allergic to meadow grass (not quite sure what that is), bermuda grass and two different kinds of mold, and that the hopefully 10 days of antibiotics from the staph infection will prevent him getting sick before we go to Ohio next week. See, I don't always complain! I'm trying to find positives in the negative.

Date Night Photos

Brett and I went out Saturday night for an adult evening...yeah!! Braiden says "yeah" too since he LOVES our sitter (thanks Casey!). We went to see Frank Caliendo, the comedian. It was an awesome show. He was hysterical, except for the one sports guy that he did an impersonation of that I didn't know who he was talking about. Anyway, I have this little "tradition" that I have Braiden take our picture before we leave. I had to share, especially the first one, where my husband got scalped. :-) Turning the camera for a portrait shot was definitely better, although I like the way he captured my fall decorations on the mantle in the scalped shot. If I only knew how to do all that photo shop stuff! I had to pick this Green Day song, even though I'm sure Brett doesn't like it, because it always reminds me of the day we got engaged and it came on the radio on our way to go out to dinner...I love my honey and am so truly blessed.
