Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!! What a beautiful day! The day that Christ was raised is a good one! The Grollers dyed our eggs on Friday evening, that was fun, and as usual, we had to have the one egg that goes into EVERY color at the end. I think we always did that as a kid, so maybe it's in his genes?! Today, we all got up around 6 am! Braiden had a blast finding all of his eggs. The Easter Bunny put Lego pieces in most of them and then once he found them all, he assembled them into a Lego Miner set. Braiden's not a big candy eater, so that was more practical for the bunny I guess. As of about 2 pm today, he still hadn't even had ANY candy. I guilted him into it when I said he was probably the only kid in America who hadn't eaten some of their Easter Candy yet, so he "broke" and had a Reeses Egg (also in his genes!). We went to church at 9:30 and served as greeters, Braiden LOVES to greet! I think we found his calling. He has NO desire to be an alter server, but boy does he love to do some greeting. After church, we went to Fatz Cafe for lunch with our friends the Murillos. It was nice to not cook and not have dishes to do, but I miss having some pie, so I must work on that later. Just doesn't seem right. Anyway, that's our Easter story and now I'm off to clean my house, mom's coming tomorrow for a visit for a week! Yeah!! Happy Easter everyone!
P.S. In my defense, when Braiden is older and his girlfriend giggles at the picture of him with ears and buck teeth, I DID warn him, but he wanted me to take a picture of him like that.
